We are offering three new training packages tailored to participants’ needs:

I – For Certified Gestalt Therapists
This program is designed for certified Gestalt therapists and aims to train and certify international-level trainers.
The curriculum includes:

Training modules;

Teaching of theory and methodology;

Supervised practice in group psychotherapy, led by the program trainers Gianni Francesetti, Peter Philippson, Jan Roubal, Nurith Levi, and Hanna Scherler.
Upon successful completion, participants receive an International Trainer Certificate recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT (detailed information below).
💰 Annual tuition: the equivalent of €2000 in Georgian lari (payment may be arranged on an individual schedule).
II – Advanced Training in Contemporary Gestalt Therapy
Unlike Package I, this program does not include supervised practice in theory–methodology and group psychotherapy.
Participants will complete a full course in contemporary Gestalt therapy within the joint program of Gianni Francesetti, Peter Philippson, Jan Roubal, Nurith Levi, and Hanna Scherler.
This program is intended both for practitioner-students and for certified Gestalt therapists.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Advanced Training in Contemporary Gestalt Therapy, recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT (detailed information below).
💰 Annual tuition: the equivalent of €1500 in Georgian lari.
🔖 A 20% discount applies for members of the Georgian Association of Gestalt Therapists – €1200 equivalent in lari (payment may be arranged on an individual schedule).
III – Modular Training Option
This program is intended for Gestalt therapy students, practitioner-students, and certified Gestalt therapists.
It offers the option to take individual training modules selectively.
Upon completion of a chosen training module, participants receive a Certificate recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT (detailed information below).
💰 Cost per module: the equivalent of €350 in lari.
🔖 A 20% discount applies for members of the Georgian Association of Gestalt Therapists – €280 equivalent in lari.
Program Duration
2 years
Curriculum Includes:

Gestalt therapy for anxiety disorders (depression, phobias, obsessive-compulsive behavior, panic attacks);

Psychoses;
-
Addictions;
-
Work with co-dependent relationships;
-
Group Gestalt therapy;
-
Gestalt therapy with couples and families;
-
Gestalt therapy with children, adolescents, and the elderly;
-
Ethics in Gestalt therapy;

Methods of teaching/training in Gestalt therapy;
-
Psychopathology and field theory in Gestalt therapy.
📅 Training sessions will be held once every three months, lasting 24 hours over 3 days.
Training Package I
Focus: Preparation of international-level trainers and group psychotherapists in contemporary Gestalt therapy.
Target group: Certified Gestalt therapists.
Upon successful completion, participants are certified as International Trainers and Group Psychotherapists.

Hours of training and group psychotherapy you conduct will be officially recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT.

Your opportunities to attract participants to your training groups and group psychotherapy will expand significantly, since the hours you provide will carry international recognition.

You will be eligible to work as a methodology trainer and group psychotherapist at Gestalt institutes both in Georgia and abroad (Europe and beyond).
This program provides not only training but also supervision of your practical work in Gestalt therapy methodology and group psychotherapy, supported by our institute.

Training Package II
Focus: Advanced Training in Contemporary Gestalt Therapy.
Unlike Package I, this does not include supervised practice in methodology and group psychotherapy.
Target group: Practitioner-students and certified Gestalt therapists.
Upon completion, you will receive an Advanced Training Certificate in Contemporary Gestalt Therapy, recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT.

Training Package III
Focus: Selective training modules.
Target group: Gestalt therapy students, practitioner-students, and certified Gestalt therapists.
Upon completion of each chosen module, participants receive a Certificate recognized by EAGT, EAP, and AAGT.

Program Trainers: Leading International Experts in Contemporary Gestalt Therapy
Gianni Francesetti – Psychiatrist, Gestalt therapist, trainer, and supervisor. Founder and director of the Gestalt Institute of Turin (Italy), member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, former president of EAGT. Researcher in psychosomatic medicine and stress. Author of numerous international publications and monographs, including the well-known book Panic Attacks (translated into Georgian).
Peter Philippson – Gestalt therapist, psychologist, trainer, and supervisor at the Gestalt Psychotherapy and Training Institute (UK). Founder of the Manchester Gestalt Centre, full member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, author of many publications and monographs, and invited trainer in international training programs.
Jan Roubal – Psychiatrist, Gestalt therapist, supervisor, psychotherapy trainer. MD, PhD in psychology, professor at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), full member of SPR. Former chair of the EAGT Research Committee. Author of numerous works, including the international publication Gestalt Therapy in Clinical Practice: From Psychopathology to the Aesthetics of Contact.
Nurith Levi – Founder and former president of the Israeli Association for Gestalt Therapy. Certified psychotherapist by EAGT and ESP. Chair of the EAGT Training Standards Committee, member of the EAGT Executive Board, and active member of the EAGT Human Rights and Social Responsibility Committee. Academic director of the Gestalt program at Bar-Ilan University, Tel Aviv (emerita). Advisor to the National Council for the Protection of Children. Author of numerous publications and books. Works in English, German, and Hebrew.
Hanna Scherler – Representative of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (USA). EAGT-accredited psychotherapist in Europe, EuroPsy certified psychotherapist, EuroPsy certified psychologist. PhD in clinical psychology (University of California, Santa Barbara, USA). Master’s degree in social psychology.
International Training Program for Gestalt Therapy Trainers
Duration: 2 years

Each participant will have an individualized practicum schedule, arranged according to availability, including at minimum:

Theory and methodology seminars: 40 hours;

University-level teaching: 45 hours.
