The project is aimed at presenting and discussing research papers by luminaries of psychotherapy.

Speaker - Doctor of Psychology, EAGT and EAP certified psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer, head of the EAGT Research Committee, founder-director of the Georgian National Gestalt Institute, Professor Dimitri Nadirashvili

The seminar will feature the work of a prominent figure in modern Gestalt therapy, an Italian psychiatrist, researcher, and author of numerous international publications.

"Phenomenological and Gestalt Research on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder"

Main issues discussed in the paper:

Phenomenological view:

Phenomenology focuses on how a person experiences OCA.

This is not just a description of symptoms, but a deep understanding of subjective experience;

Gestalt approach:

Gestalt psychology focuses on how reality is intertwined with figure-ground;

Therapeutic recommendations:

Clearing fixation, noticing and realizing, working on the “here and now” state.

Attendance is free for anyone with an interest in research in Gestalt therapy.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format.
